Wicked Weekend!

Weekend was good, met more fabulous people from the UK, Russia, New York.  I had a pre-house warming, friends brought friends which is how come I didn't know everyone beforehand.  Great night; I ended up with more booze than I started with and a few more new friends!  Got to bed at 3, after putting the world to rights with my new Irish buddy and a young girl we met (another friend's son's girlfriend).  NJ luckily let me sleep later (although he was in and out from 7am onwards) and we had some pool time (relaxing) and then shopping mall and out for dinner.  Saturday was a nice brunch with my lovely friend Nic and family and a few others, including kids who had a cooking lesson while we ate some great food and drank lots of bubbles.  Back to Nic's for more wine, and NJ unfortunately hit his head under the stairs, the blood sobered me up pretty quickly.  He was fine, it was superficial, but we were all a little shocked.  I kept him in my bed last night to be sure.  He was absolutely ok this morning luckily.  Dropped him off at Nic's (no more summer camp) and had a busy day at the office.  Meeting with the client tomorrow and my manager is flying out.  They all went to the summer festival again today and NJ did some assault course which he really enjoyed.  Late dinner, NJ to bed and then packing.  We fly back at midnight tomorrow.  Five hour stopover at Schiphol, which will give NJ time to see his father all being well (he was supposed to Skype tonight but it never happened) and then onto Leeds for the wedding, can't wait.  Hope I can get some rest while we are there!
