Friday morning

Friday morning here is obviously unlike Friday morning back in Europe! It's weekend (although the office tends to forget that!)  After a restless night's sleep and dropping off far too late, I didn't get up until 8am (luxury for me).  I'm teaching NJ the ways of the world (not very consequently may I add) and this morning's lesson was 'how to make mum a cup of coffee' - it didn't go bad at all although he found the kettle heavy!!  This was followed by making breakfast, and instead of choosing something simple, he went for a cheese and bacon omelet.  Needless to say, that one required mucho help!

I'm feeling ill, so I'm going to OD on Vitamin C, suck it up and get on with it.  The sun is shining, I have no plans (cancelled everything) and going to try and get the Vitamin D levels up!  Supermarket shopping, followed by Ikea (my lamp broke) before we get some pool time.  We've been invited to friends, but I'm not sure how sociable me and my snotty nose are feeling just yet, maybe a shower will help.

Fab weekend in Dubai a couple of weeks back, followed by a few days in Europe, but stories and photos will have to come later, too much to do, so little time :-)
