Normal Life.... As Normal as it Gets
10th January and it feels like last year was a long time away. It feels like I have never been off work for two weeks, all the same old New Year cliché stuff. We hit the ground running at work signing a contract last Thursday (working whilst on holiday but hey ho) and hoping to sign another today. It is a great start to the year and different to last year which got off to a slow start.
The MBA has started again and I'm behind already (see above) but I will catch up at the weekend hopefully. It's the sales and marketing module this block, so something that shouldn't be too difficult for me as I'm in sales and I've studied marketing in the past, but that's a long time ago.
The Netherlands at the end of the month and although cold, I'm looking forward to it. Likely to have a trip to Dubai between now and then but just waiting on someone getting back to me.
Having the girls round tonight for Pokeno, we play it like Bingo with prizes, it's all rather good fun. Hopefully tomorrow I can get a lie in whilst NJ goes to Gaelic football with the Brady bunch and then he has a swimming competition in the afternoon, when I can hopefully get some study done between races. Saturday will be the usual shopping and other bits and bobs before back to work Sunday.
This week has felt so long and so slow, glad it's weekend.
