Big Girl's Pants

As most of the world enters (or ends in the Southern Hemisphere) their 'hump day', I've been up four hours and metaphorically wearing my big girl's pants today. Covid is shit, January is rubbish, bla bla bla bla forking bla!!

  • The sun is shining, we have a roof over our heads, money in the bank, food on the table. There is so much to be grateful for. We are lucky, we are blessed!
  • I ran my fastest 5 km ever yesterday at the ripe old age of forty eight (I cannot believe I will be fifty next year, OMFG!)
  • The sun is shining.
  • My child and I are healthy(ish - there's the cysts and stuff but I'm sure all will be fine).
  • I am surrounded by some of the world's most amazing people, both close by, and far away.  Some are very far away; hard to coordinate chatting, but possible.  The world is getting smaller.  Distance is not important.  People are!

The world is pretty much my oyster and I just have to trust and believe that I will make the right decisions at the right time this year, and do what is best for my teeny-weeny family.

By the way, my pants are obviously not really big!!

Have an amazing day or evening, wherever you may be in this beautiful, cruel and amazing world. 💕💕💕 Follow your dreams. Do what makes you happy! Much love 💓
